Rajaji National Park in Rishikesh  is an Indian national park and tiger reserve that surrounds the Shivaliks near the foothills of the Himalayas. It is spread over 820 km and three districts of Uttarakhand: Rishikesh, Haridwar and Dehradun .Rajaji National Park of India is situated between the Shivalik ranges and the Indo-Gangetic plains.

Broad leaf deciduous forests, riverside vegetation, shrubs, meadows and pine forests make up the range of flora in this park. Rajaji National Park is mainly composed of dense green forests, and this environment creates habitat for many animals. The park is on the north-western range of distribution for both elephants and tigers in India. This park is most famous for elephants. Another notable resident is the mountain goat, the goral. It is mainly confined to pine covered slopes. Rhesus macaque and common langur are quite common here. Tigers and leopards are the major predators in this park. Leopard cat, wild cat, civet and yellow-throated marten are other carnivores Mammals such as the jackal and the Bengal fox clean up the park. Although the Himalayan black bear is uncommon, it can be seen in the higher reaches of the park. Other wild animals found in the park include: Asian elephant, Bengal Tiger, Indian Leopard, Indian Rabbit, sloth bear, Himalayan black bear etc.

The park has several gates, and is accessible from many cities in Uttarakhand. Connected by train in parts.
